As most of you know, my favorite holiday is only a month away. To see how I celebrated last year, click here.
So, here is where you come in. I have no idea what to do next. It doesn't even have to be as big as last year, but I really need to do something. The guys wouldn't know what to do if they came in the office and there was no April Fool's celebration.
So please leave your ideas.

Well you could wrap everything in the office with aluminum foil. I mean every book, stapler, phone, chair, every single item - though this does take time.
The other idea is to get those snaps that you through down and they go "pow" and put those in all the drawer slides, chair wheels, and cabinet doors. Tape them in and when the person pulls out the drawer, or closes it they go off. The chair wheels are great too. I had friends do this and heard it was a success - especially since they didn't find all of them the first day so other times things were POWING.
Another idea is to bake them a "sponge" cake and have an actual sponge in the cake. Or a "marble" cake with marbles.
These are all I can think of for now. Make sure you take pictures and let us know what you do!!
I would go for a big party, but FIRST, call in sick that day so they think that you're not doing to come or do anything (and disappoint them if they've done anything to your desk). Then, bring in "unusual" foods like the ones mentioned above. Check out www.familyfun.com and view their Silly Pranks link for April Fools. They even have some food ideas - foods that look like one thing, but are another. I'm sure you could also google April Fools pranks or something similar for more ideas.
I'm not a great prankster, but my husband has pulled a few good one's in his time.
For senior pranks, they chained all the doors to the school and locked everyone in. They also put the principal's car in the foyer for graduation.
On halloween, he and his friends took all the pumkins doorsteps and stacked them in front of the gym. That worked great, until one of his friend's dad(a police man) told them they had better put them all back in the right place, or he would press charges, if he got any complaint for missing pumpkins.
My husband's sister and her best friend (both pillsbury students at the time, and often frequented our house on the weekends) jumped at the idea of taking a dead mouse we found in the dog food bag, back to the dorms and carefully putting it on their floor supervisors bed.
None of these probably help you a whole lot, but they are funny stories.
Vickie
Erin, I would love to help you out but I just can't think of any. Vickie has some pretty funny stories....so go find a mouse!
