Friendship

One of the things that can be a struggle for singles is loneliness. There are times when I struggle with this, but I do have to say that this week was not one of those time. I am so fortunate to have such wonderful friends.

Friday night Stacey and Patty came over for dinner, a game and a movie. It was nice that their kids were taken care of and their husbands had to work, so they could come out for the night. We had a great time!!!! I had gotten my camera out intending to take pictures, but forgot to. I guess we were having too much fun.

Then on Saturday, Lynnae and I drove down to Ames to spend the afternoon and evening with a couple of camp friends. Both Annie and Sabrina had worked for me in the office at camp and now one is married and the other is getting married very soon. It was great to catch up!

Annie had the practice up do done for her wedding and we were helping her take out all the bobby pins right in the middle of Panara's.

Getting gangster lessons from Annie. :)
Who do you think makes the best gangster?
We ate supper at Hickory Park, which is one of the best places to eat. Annie and Sabrina's guys joined us for the meal and it was nice to get to know them as well.

I would have to say Sabrina makes the best gangster. For some reason, your hand looks deformed. Sorry, so on that point alone you are not even in the running. ha, ha, ha,....

Yeah...I agree about my hand. Don't know what I was thinking.

I don't know-Lynnae looks like she could talk some serious smack:-)

Annie has the best hand shape, and Sabrina has the best facial express (Are those actually little smirks/smiles on Annie & Lynnae's faces?); but I'm sure you all made an intimidating impression when you walked in all five-foot-whatever of each of you - and that's coming from a shorty! (You all are at least five foot, right???)

I'm not so sure that Annie and Sabrina are in the five foot range. In fact, I'm pretty positive that I'm more than three inches taller than either of them. It's nice to tower over someone. :)

Ha, Ha, You all need saggy briches(sp?) or backwards baseball hats or something. Thats ok. You probably wouldn't want to be mistaken for a gangsta. It might land you in the slammer :)

Annie looks pretty serious!! You don't look scary at all - oh well! So glad you were able to spend time with friends. I know what loneliness is - some weeks I only talk to the kids I teach other than church. Looks like a lot of fun!
